Ananya Birla Enters the Beauty Industry with the Launch of the New Color Cosmetics Brand LOVETC

Entrepreneur and innovator Ananya Birla has made a daring entry into India’s thriving beauty market with the launch of her newest project, LOVETC, a high-end color cosmetics brand under Birla Cosmetics Pvt Ltd (BCPL).

The goal of LOVETC, a high-performance, domestic brand, is to close the gap in the market for high-end cosmetics at reasonable costs. This calculated action comes after BCPL’s first brand, Contraband, launched successfully earlier this year. Birla Cosmetics is expected to gain a 5-8% market share in the rapidly expanding beauty sector of the nation with LOVETC.

Ananya Birla, the founder and chairperson of BCPL, stated, “The launch of LOVETC reiterates our constant belief that price is not what defines luxury, but the quality of the product does.” “LOVETC offers a new perspective on beauty by providing top-notch, high-performance color cosmetics, where luxury is a promise of a better future—better quality at a better cost.”

The first collection from LOVETC, a “created in India, for the world” brand, includes high-tech lipsticks, long-wearing eyeliners, and volumizing mascaras that are all designed to provide customers with exceptional comfort and performance.

Janhvi Kapoor, the brand’s official spokesperson, lends a glamorous and ambitious touch. Kapoor, who is well-known for her grace and youthful vitality, will encourage deeper interaction with Indian beauty fans.

 

With a staged retail rollout slated over 200 outlets in 20 key Indian cities, LOVETC will first be accessible through its own direct-to-consumer platform and Nykaa’s web store.

Ananya Birla’s long-term vision and keen business sense are evident in this expansion. From the establishment of Svatantra Microfin, the second-largest NBFC-MFI in India, to the introduction of the luxury lifestyle brand Ikai Asai and the AI platform Sophius, Birla has built strong businesses in a variety of industries.

Beyond her career, she is an enthusiastic supporter of mental health, having helped more than 30,000 people since 2020 through the Ananya Birla Foundation. She continues to have an innovative and meaningful impact on India’s corporate landscape as a director on the boards of Hindalco, Grasim, and ABFRL.
